Meetings are held on the first Sunday of each month (unless it is a holiday weekend) at Good Samaritan Hospital, 12th Street and McDowell Rd., Phoenix, in the Sandstone North room located on the ground floor of the hospital. The Newcomer's meeting is at 3:30 p.m. and the General meeting is at 4:30 p.m. During the Newcomer's meeting we show an informative video that deals with the medical and emotional issues faced by people with herpes, followed by a question and answer session. We have educational materials available free of charge. The General meeting is at 4:30 p.m. and is also held in the Sandstone North room located on the ground floor of the hospital. The format of the General meeting will vary between guest speakers and group discussions. Past speakers have included physicians, counselors, a nutritionist, homeopathic professionals, experts in relaxation -- in short, anyone whose knowledge might be helpful. We also sponsor social events on an occasional basis. We often host special events which might include parties, trips or happenings around the valley.
